Dress Code
Please note: We are working to make our class attire more uniform. If you already have class clothes (tights, leotards, etc) that fit the general dress code, do not feel obligated to purchase additional class wear in the exact styles listed.

Baby Ballet and Ballet 1
- Pink convertible ballet tights (purchase here)
- Pink ballet slippers (leather or canvas; bedroom slippers not allowed)
- Black or pink short sleeve leotard (purchase here)
- Black or pink skirt (purchase here)
- Optional pink or black dance sweater may be purchased here
Other things to note:
Normal sweaters are permitted in these levels only. Hair must be pulled off the face; a ballet bun is desired.
Levels 2b, 2a
- Pink convertible ballet tights (purchase here)
- Pink split-sole ballet slippers (leather or canvas)
- Nude camisole modesty leotard is required (purchase here)
- Black short sleeve leotard (purchase here)
- Black skirt OR black fingertip length athletic shorts (purchase skirt here)
- Optional pink or black dance sweater may be purchased here
Other things to note:
Hair MUST be in a ballet bun. Hair that is too short for a bun must be in a pony tail or braid. Bangs and side wispy hairs must be pulled back and secured. (Loose hair is SO distracting during class!) The same shoes/dress code applies for ballet and lyrical. Please no leggings, t-shirts, or loose sweaters. Legwarmers and dance sweaters are acceptable.
Levels 3b, 3a, 4b, 4a, 5

- Nude camisole modesty leotard is required (purchase here)
- Leotard must be black; see options below:
- Optional black dance sweater may be purchased here
Other things to note:
Hair MUST be in a ballet bun. Hair that is too short for a bun must be in a pony tail or braid. Bangs and side wispy hairs must be pulled back, secured, and hair sprayed. The same shoes/dress code applies for ballet and lyrical. Shorts or skirts must not be longer than a few inches above knee, and please no leggings, t-shirts, or loose sweaters, because the instructor needs to be able to see the leg muscles' movement to ensure safe and proper placement. Legwarmers and dance sweaters are acceptable as warm-ups.
Boys (all styles and levels)
- Black athletic pants
- Black split sole ballet slippers (leather or canvas).
- Black or white t-shirt
Other things to note:
Boys are never asked to wear tights without pants or shorts for class or for recitals. Hair should be neat and styled out of the face.
Adult Ballet
- Pink ballet tights, black tights, or black leggings
- Pink split sole ballet slippers (canvas or leather)
- Black leotard
- Solid black dance sweaters/shirts, shorts, and/or skirts are allowed over leotards.

Tap
Dress as you would for a ballet class in your level. Split sole tap shoes are acceptable if desired. Please wear Capezio or Bloch brand shoes; avoid Mary Jane style tap shoes. Girls, please wear black shorts instead of a skirt.

English Country Dancing
