Miss Adina
Dance has been a part of Adina’s life since she was eight years old, and from her very first ballet class, she knew it was going to be a big part. Adina trained under Christina Kilpatrick at Petit Allegro for four years. After moving into the Ann Arbor area she trained at Ballet Chelsea for one year, after which, through lots of prayer and research, she felt led to try His Feet Dance! And she is so thankful that she did.
His Feet Dance has been such an amazing blessing in Adina’s life. It has opened up the opportunity for her to use something she loves to not only worship in a beautiful way but also practically live out her faith. Adina has been training, and continues to train, in ballet, pointe, lyrical, and contemporary. She has also had the wonderful opportunity to grow in her technique and in her faith at summer intensives and workshops with Ballet 5:8 and Ballet Magnificat!. She is a certified Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) instructor, and is working towards her HBtA (Heart Behind the Art) and BFC (Beautiful Feet) certifications with His Feet Dance.
Adina has been teaching and assisting since 2024, and is so excited to get to use dance as something more than a hobby—she gets to be using her own training to help others in their love of dance while growing in their relationships with Jesus!
One of Adina’s favorite Bible verses is Joshua 1:9, where it says “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
This verse reminds her that no matter what happens (in life, during a performance, or while dancing) God is in control and He will work all things together for good!
